The gospel properly represents an offensive message.It is salvation by an especial favor granted to the undeserved. It is a message like an officer demanding an arrest of an offender. Like the arrested criminals standing before a Judge both charged with murder.The judge merely decides to relinquish all the charges to one defendant in the presence of the other. The plaintive cry of the unfairness of the Judge is proof the everlasting gospel is by the will of God. It is the most free gift or offensive charge.How can we reconcile both sinners knowingly committing the same sins while one is righteous by the legitimate claim that he is not individually responsible because his capital punishment was charged to a satisfactory substitute? The irresponsible claim of childlike innocence merely adds to the eternal punishment of the bitterly offended of providing no flimsy excuse. You see God did not communicate man any language that is unborrowed from God. God nothing but steadfastly maintains one way of eternal salvation. Men who resolutely oppose God adopt the sacred language from God to worship other heathen gods. This is the convincing way God mocks the other gods. He voluntarily chooses to cynically use the like SYMBOLS they merely employ in worshipping their heathen idols to harshly judge them.You see God chose from eternity past to bless some men and curse others. It is impossible to worship God without divine understanding in gainfully employing sacred language. God cannot be universally recognized unless reveals Himself through His Spirit. The solitary righteous people are not responsible for voluntarily offering something to God in mutual exchange for the divine understanding. The gospel uniquely represents the most offensive message because there is nothing condemned man can claim responsibility other than under the criminal charge of eternal punishment.
