This Psalm is accurately describing the complementary relationship that God has with His chosen people within the nation of Israel. In eloquently describing the governing extent that God exercises over all nations the Psalmist always begins by objectively comparing it with Gods original work in creation. He is saying Gods word was completely successful in designing the creation and upholding it. This same sovereign God who spoke all things into established existence was the same God who graciously gave the saints His covenants. 4 For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does". 6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth." The Psalmist is teaching God ordains comes whatsoever to pass in eternity. He reliably determines the specific purpose of every one and a thing that exist properly includes specific thoughts and actions. 13 From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind;
 All reality is spoken respectfully from eternity past and is worked out through His laws, covenants, statutes, promises and curses.The king is declaring sovereign ruler-ship over the nations by the absolute power of the curse that surrounds the blissful state of the saints.12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD ,the people he chose for his inheritance." When the Psalmist teaches that Gods people are blessed in the paternal inheritance he is not exclusively talking about the gift of the land, but about the state of divine grace they genuinely enjoy.Lawful authority to over rule all foolish decisions and defamatory words that redefine Gods axioms.The pronouncements of the Psalms in blessing and cursing over rule all events in historical time. 16 No king is saved by the size of his army; No warrior escapes by his great strength.17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;despite all its great strength, it cannot save". 18 37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them;
I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38 I crushed them so that they could not rise;
they fell beneath my feet.

18 41 They cried for help, but there was no one to save them-to the LORD , but he did not answer.42 I beat them as fine as dust borne on the wind;I poured them out like mud in the streets". The Psalmist Is carefully describing the historical context of God as our "Rock". He is not necessarily talking about his heroic ability in a bodily war. He is talking candidly about the extraordinary ability of saints to make war through His word! 18 30 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. This is eagerly adopted from Ps.12 And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times."

In Psalm 12 he is objectively comparing Gods work in speaking all things into peaceful existence with sacred word and Spirit in authority that graciously allows and forcibly prevents through His authoritative pronouncements. The context of the flawless nature of the "word" is allowing and preventing through the divine blessing and cursing. God has intentionally made His saints like Himself. In our adaptive response to the historical events of this world the sacred fire of Gods blessing and cursing consumes our considerable success and passionate anger in overcoming all opposition. We are not under the logistical constraints of a continuous process. We bring Gods eternal government to bear on this created earth through sacred word and Spirit. We speak eternal pronouncements. AR
