Self-knowledge comes from faithfully carrying out the law. We ordinarily think of the law as a moral standard that must be adequately met. But the law remains the harmonic means by which God created all things. When we reasonably regard the law as an ideal instrument that God uses to shame law breakers we sufficiently reduce our motives to exhaustively study and accurately identify the law. This is why people describe social relationships by properly focusing on genuine love. Because they do not respect the shame that the moral law instantly produces. But the truth is that we cannot trust emotional love to become self-confident. We must properly administer the law to our likes and dislikes. We must be dogmatic in the precise sense that what naturally provokes us is in the positive  as right and the negative as wrong. We must carefully guard our controlling motives because the law is not pragmatic but eternal. We properly administer the law to our likes and dislikes only being satisfied when the law is pronounced in the Psalms. We live in a suffering world that overwhelmingly opposes our personal likes and dislikes. But we scarcely get satisfaction by direct conflict with other peoples likes and dislikes. We can exclusively secure resolution in the authoritative pronouncement of the eternal law. You undoubtedly see we are eternal beings who properly maintain eternal desires that can only be satisfied by eternal pronouncements.

There is no identical personality. The creation represents a working diversity of the parts that fit to unify all things. The unity can nothing but be accomplished through the satisfaction of all eternal desires.God naturally produced all things with the created boundaries of the axioms. God spoke the law, covenants, curses, statutes, promises and decrees. When we administer the law, we vicariously experience the unity that is obtained through overcoming the opposition by pronouncing the eternal axioms. God is worse we could ever imagine and He is greater than we could fathom. Gods eternal desires that are divinely revealed in the axioms provide us the ability to overcome the opposition to be more confident in our likes and dislikes. We must know ourselves through going beyond our productive ability to overcome the opposition through pronouncing Gods eternal desires in the axioms.
