Ps 115 1 Not to us, O LORD , not to us

but to your name be the glory,

because of your love and faithfulness."

All things are controlled by God. The Psalmist describes this world as Gods world. God has revealed Himself in creation and His revealed word. These two revelations of God are the gifts of His love and faithfulness. God is revealed in His word. God reveals His knowledge and power to create and recreate in His laws, decrees, statutes, covenants, curses and promises. The exercise of these 6 revelations is the reality of Gods work. Outside of this revelation is darkness and death.

When we pronounce the law, covenants etc ,we are wrestling with our fallen desire to control Gods creation. When we were saved we were translated into the kingdom that is ordered by Gods law, covenants, curses etc. We were made complete. All of the responses to our prayers as we unite our desires with Gods through the law, covenants etc are made successful by Gods love and faithfulness. The Psalmist finds the satisfaction of all of his personal suffering in being consoled by God as he prays the Psalms. Gods response of the pronouncements is the consuming power of His love and faithfulness. Gods love and faithfulness, faithfulness and righteousness, and righteousness and compassion are personifications of a person who comes to meet the Psalmist in response to praying the Psalms.

In pronouncing the law, covenants , etc he is rising up to the line of Gods blessing and cursing in his desire for justice. God is completely just at all times.The presence of Gods love and faithfulness is the justice that is created in the Psalmist present world. Gods justice is satisfied when all corruption is dead. Gods elect experience the death of corruption as the future is made to pass. The power of death is the deception of the present. The present produces the value system of the world. It is philosophy that value is determined by the senses. It is the philosophy of pragmatism. But the pronouncements create the value system of life and death.Just as the day passes so the pronouncements create the death of all corrupted opposition. Gods elect pronounce the real powers of creation. But the wicked create idols by their pragmatism.
