At the onset of our social interactions, I was unaware that I was articulating the formation of a paternal governance, divinely ordained, which would extend its influence to other local families. I initially doubted the feasibility of uniting a collective of ideal families who would share a uniform mindset. However, it became evident that God was attentively listening to my aspirations, despite my insistence on specific outcomes. As a result, God was compelled to lay a robust foundation amidst adversity and to establish an operational governance within our small community. I steadfastly upheld high standards throughout this process. As a consequence, when Sandy became involved with a homeschooling group, she began to emerge as a leader within that context, despite the group's inherent controversies and ongoing disputes.
As Sandy assumed her role as an effective leader, the formation of a cohesive group began to develop organically among the members. This evolution was a notably gradual process, characterized by the collaborative efforts of dedicated mothers who convened to design a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the specific needs of their children. It is important to emphasize that we preserved an extraordinary dynamic that facilitated the establishment of meaningful relationships. Additionally, it appeared that divine protections were in place, safeguarding this process from any external disruptions.
I conducted an objective comparison between the ideal society we had collaboratively developed and the conventional societal structures of the 1950s. During that era, there was a stable organizational framework, and committed parents collaborated effectively, which facilitated the gathering of children. They typically organized field trips, physical education activities, community service projects, an annual social dance, and graduation ceremonies. The nonprofit organization generally convened once a week at a local church, where parents presented the most suitable curriculum. Furthermore, we successfully incorporated an International Day, during which we established booths representing various cultures, provided comprehensive information about each distinct culture, and prepared traditional cultural foods.
