Psa 5:12 For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield." When we are save God blesses us with a continual defense. We died in Christ and now we live in God's house. Our Father watches out for us and always comes to our defense. Christ is our big brother who fights for us. We live in a relationship of blessing. We call a on God and He comes to our rescue.

 Psa 24:5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior."When we are saved we are freed from the condemnation of the law. Because Christ satisfies the law we are blessed with God's causes. Because we have His cause even tho we fail and sin God defends our cause. Those outside of Christ have no cause. But we have been translated into life. The dead have no cause but the living are blessed with God's cause.  Now our success is defended because we represent a God who cannot fail. His name is on the line.

Psa 28:9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever." Because we belong to God we are blessed with a continual redemption.Because the Son paid our price for sin we were bought from being slaves to sin and Satan our father. Now all of our sins and weaknesses work to our advantage. In order for us to be blessed the Father had to buy back all of our corruption and sin. Now we are accepted by  the Father by our union with Christ.
