Psa 139:17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

The Psalmist is teaching that pronouncing  axioms have after effects. All of the experiences he has been describing branch out into events that he does not understand. God's thoughts branch out in experience of His desires. We experience God's desires that give us hope that what He is doing will be in agreement with our desires. We learn to wait on God as the pronouncements and the answer are prolonged. We are led along by a deeper understanding in experiencing the desires that are on the wings of the all the answers we waited for in the past.

At the same time we are always being chased by God. We are in and out of His over powering desires. We are drawn to speak the axioms. God always raises the stakes and remains silent to make us patient with His answer. The longer we wait the more we seek Him. God always works to prepare the answer. From past experiences we learn that even tho He prolongs His answer that it is certain that He is working.
