Psa 125:3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.
The Psalmist teaches that the hands represent the character of that separates the righteous and the wicked. The righteous oppose the wicked by God's law. The law curses lawbreakers. The righteous have Christ as a substitute. We speak the curses to destroy the power of the wicked. If we argue that God chooses to upend the power of the wicked then why does God give us the curses? Vengeance belongs to God who curses the wicked. Those curses are used by the apostles and prophets. The Lord responds to the pronouncements.
Psa 140:4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet. The Psalmist is praying to be protected from the harm the wicked impose with their hands .The hands are a weapon of violence.
Psa 94:17 Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
The Psalmist is teaching that God is not pragmatic. When we are pragmatic we live with questions that are not answered. We adjust our attitude according
our solution to the iminent problem. But in God's thinking all opposition is corrupted. This is why God determined good and bad in His choice of blessing and cursing.
We are not like God because we do not know all there is to know about corrption. God's chooses with perfect knowledge. But we do not know the extent of our corrupted opposition. We are always trusting in a person or situation with partial blindness. If God left us without being able to come to His line of blessing and cursing then we would not be able to apply truth as we understand truth. But God has given truth so that we are able to apply it. The worLd would be in complete confusion if we could not apply the truth. The question is How do we apply truth in a biblical way?. How do we avoid pragmatic applications of truth?
We were not created to make pragmatic decisions in a pragmatic world. When God makes a decision He does not make it on the bases of the person. He makes it based upon the sinner deserving of blessing or cursing. God does not oppose anything with moral power. The object of His choice is either worthy or unworthy. God simply curses the unworthy object. So we can conclude there is nothing that is alive that opposes God.
But we judge bases upon our senses. We are pragmatic. We make judgements by what we hear ,think, see,or touch. Because we are not omniscient omnipresent or omnipotent. But we are still responsible to make moral choices bases in the Truth of God's word. This is why God gave us His axioms as He spoke them in creating and recreating
