Psa 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psa 18:3 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. He calls on God in the heat of the battle and he is saved. 
Psa 20:9 O LORD, save the king! Answer us when we call! The king extols the Lord by repeating the covenant that he cannot trust in his weapons or horses but in God alone. He calls on God.
Psa 28:2 Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. He speaks the covenant promise that God will not forsake us. He calls on God.
Psa 30:2 O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. He calls on God to be healed. The promise to take care of us.  Psa 31:22 In my alarm I said, "I am cut off from your sight!" Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help. He calls on God when he is in trouble and alone. Holy Psa 50:15 and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."He repeats God's covenant promise to call in trouble.
 Psa 56:9 Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. He reminds himself that speaking the curses  Psa 61:2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I." He calls on God when he is weak. Ho Psa 86:3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long. The apsalmist is persistent calling on God all day long.
